Meet David B. Tenney, CPA

Professional History and Qualifications

David is the Managing Director and Sole Member of the regional accounting firm of Tenney & Associates, LLC CPA’s, with offices in Marietta, Ohio and Vienna, West Virginia.

Now staffed with more than twenty professionals, the firm has grown to become the largest locally-owned CPA firm in the Mid-Ohio Valley. David is a Certified Public Accountant and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Marietta College.

He has developed a multifaceted practice which allows him to serve a variety of clients, in several industries.

His primary focus is on business/corporate accounting, taxation, and business consulting. David represents individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service, the Ohio Department of Taxation, and the West Virginia Department of Tax & Revenue.
Active in many professional organizations, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Previously he has served on the Ohio Society of CPA’s Member Initiative Advisory Council and is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Parkersburg Chapter of the West Virginia Society of CPA’s.

With strong civic participation, David serves as Treasurer of the Hippodrome-Colony Historic Theatre Association (non-profit corporation), located in Marietta, Ohio and is active in the Marietta Morning Rotary Club.
